Les raisons pour la filtration sont diverses. La phase de filtration en aval est n\u00e9cessaire du point de vue de la technique de proc\u00e9d\u00e9,<\/p><ul><li>pour assurer, dans le cas du <strong>proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 charbon actif en poudre<\/strong> (CAP), la r\u00e9tention du charbon en poudre,<\/li><li>pour assurer, avec du <strong>charbon actif en grains<\/strong> (CAG), la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une filtration par le charbon en grains (lit fixe) et<\/li><li>pour retraiter dans le filtre dans le cas de l&rsquo;<strong>ozonation<\/strong>, les substances des eaux us\u00e9es rendues biologiquement disponibles.<\/li><\/ul><p>De l&rsquo;objectif d&rsquo;\u00e9limination cibl\u00e9e des micropolluants d\u00e9coulent des effets synergiques au sens d&rsquo;effets secondaires automatiques concernant d&rsquo;autres param\u00e8tres des eaux us\u00e9es.<\/p><p>La r\u00e9tention des mati\u00e8res solides par les filtres a pour effet une <strong>suppression compl\u00e9mentaire du carbone<\/strong>, une <strong>\u00e9limination additionnelle du phosphore<\/strong>, une <strong>r\u00e9tention additionnelle des microplastiques<\/strong> et \u00e9galement une <strong>am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 hygi\u00e9nique des eaux us\u00e9es<\/strong>. Une reviviscence du fait du posttraitement n&rsquo;est pas \u00e0 exclure. Une r\u00e9duction de la <strong>mati\u00e8re organique r\u00e9siduelle <\/strong>avec une ozonation se d\u00e9roule uniquement en combinaison avec le posttraitement dans lequel la part de COD rendue biologiquement disponible par l&rsquo;ozone est d\u00e9compos\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Avec les <strong>proc\u00e9d\u00e9s \u00e0 charbon actif, <\/strong>l&rsquo;adsorption de la part de carbone r\u00e9siduel dissout engendre une diminution suppl\u00e9mentaire du COD.
